The Perfect Crop

I held back for so long from jumping on the crop top bandwagon. Here's what I don't like: having to buy certain pieces specifically to wear with other pieces that have a list of requirements in order to wear them. I like it when everything in the closet kind of effortlessly works together and mixes and matches with each other. But that general attitude can be kind of limiting when it comes to trying to be a stylish person. Luckily, I just so happen to have purchased some jeans and pants with a higher waist in recent months, so there does seem to be a place in my wardrobe for some cropped tops. This one really called to me. I love the color palette (though the other color it comes in is gorgeous too - especially for a blond), the black embroidery, the deep neckline that makes it possible to dress up the look for evening. Most of all I love the laid back boho vibe, which is my favorite kind for a crop top. The idea of a crop top just feels high maintenance to me, so if I'm going to do it, I prefer to bring down the level of intensity with some chill vibes. What do you think? Have you tried this trend?
