New Home (Again)

Well, it’s been another minute since I checked in on here and yet again so much has changed in my life. We moved into another new house here in Portland, I got a new website (what do you think??), and we traveled to Hawaii for the first time. Now, with the pandemic finally winding down, we are finally able to start getting to know our new city. I am just so grateful that the girls are in a school that we love, we are settling into this new house (and we LOVE our new neighborhood even more than the last), and Portland is feeling more and more like home.

With everything new in my life, one thing I’ve noticed about my new routine lately is that my free time is really hard to let go of. On a given day, I’m doing dropoff, workouts, work for styling clients, jewelry school, and running my jewelry business. I love it all, but it’s a LOT.

Thankfully, I’m able to get a lot more done in a day with Walmart’s free delivery from your store ($35 minimum. Restrictions apply) and other much needed benefits through Walmart+. A benefit that’s available in many zip codes, Walmart+ allows you to order a lot of necessities with free shipping, no order minimum required (excludes freight & Marketplace items). I love to use it for things I never want to run out of, like paper towels, diapers, toothpaste, art supplies (love these washable markers), etc. I’m obsessed with the fact that I can literally sit down with a cup of coffee in my comfy clothes and order up whatever I am needing for the day, and then count the hours it saved me. Later that day, it just shows up at my door and I didn’t miss a beat. Who has time to wander the aisles these days? Even with the slower lifestyle we’ve gotten used to this past year, between the kids, jewelry school and running a new second business on top of the first, I find myself being a lot more intentional about how I spend my time. But if I do shop in person, I also get member prices on fuel, and can use Mobile Scan & Go which lets you check out as you walk through the store for contact free shopping (you will just have to go to the self-checkout aisle before you leave). Another way to be efficient and save!

So, if you’re in the same boat and you’re juggling a lot, I highly recommend you check out Walmart+ and let me know what fun things you’ve had delivered! I saw that they have board games like Monopoly available for delivery, which I might have to pick up now that Sailor is old enough for my old favorite board games from when I was a kid.
