Fall Workout Wear
I'm definitely a big believer in the well researched statistic that if you have new cute workout clothes, you're more inspired to work out. It's true - the first step to get motivated is to dress for it. Even if you don't have a plan for the day but you're wearing some moveable clothing, you'll end up finding time to squeeze in a brisk walk, 20 min video, or class. It's all about setting that wood intention. Now that's fall, I'm ready for a refresh in my athleisure wardrobe. Most of what I own is black so I'm trying to bring in some warmer toned fall neutrals. I thought it would be fun to share my fall workout clothes inspiration with you guys, and some of my favorite/most coveted pieces this season. The key is to stick to a palette that's easy to mix and match, and items that can mix in with non-workout clothes to form cute, comfy outfits any day of the week.
SWEATSHIRTS // What's better than a sweatshirt in the fall? I'm loving the ripped sweats look contrasting with sleek leggings. This one is from the Sincerely Jules collection last spring, and I guess it's out of stock now but I linked a bunch of similar ones below. Also fun options: short sleeved sweatshirts, 70's sports style sweatshirts, and ones from your alma mater.
LEGGINGS // I don't like to wear shorts when I work out, so it's pretty much all leggings in my closet. They're also great for travel or running errands. I'm also really into sweatpants (who isn't?).
WORN TEES // No need to have a separate collection of t-shirts just for your athleisure outfits. I love this one by The Great. and want it in every color. It's oversized which works well with leggings too.
SNEAKERS // It's all about those neutrals. Currently, I'm obsessed with finding the perfect 70's burgundy basketball shoe, so let me know if you've seen one. In the meantime I found these sand colored ones at the Nike Clearance store (I can't find them online anywhere - sorry - but I linked a bunch here). This color goes with everything, including an all-black outfit if you go that route!
BASEBALL CAPS // You know this is one of my favorite accessories, and with a sporty look, they're perfect. I've been seeing some fun leather, suede, velvet, and wool options too.
MINIMAL, EASY MAKEUP // Tinted moisturizer is a godsend for low key runaround days, highlighter for a nice glow, and mascara. Maybe some blush and lip balm and you're good to go.
