Warmed Up

In the spirit of style evolution, I've been working on tweaking how I wear some of my all-time favorite trends. Black and white remains my favorite combo, but these days I find that I like it best when I can find a way to warm it up a bit. Whether that's with softer textures, or adding in some blush or other color tones to give it a softer vibe, it feels more current to keep it from going too hard or cold. I used to shy away from anything "brown" but lately it's definitely been creeping into my closet. These pants in particular really caught my eye. I love the richness of the caramel tone and how well it mixes with this black and white gingham top, which was another Target score (can't stop won't stop). Everything is neutral, yet lively at the same time.
