Toy Soldier

Have you noticed how shopping for the holidays can get WAY out of hand? Not only are we buying stuff for all our friends and family, but - I don't know about you - I tend to get carried away wanting to buy everything for myself along the way. Especially since this time of year is a very social time and there are countless parties to go to and gatherings to look cute for. I'm kind of off the hook this year since I'm spending the better portion of the holiday lead-up down in Austin, TX doing wardrobe for a show. BUT I may have found a need or two for a couple of cute holiday-ish pieces that will easily mix into post-December wardrobe. I love the vibrance of these red trousers and the subtle festiveness of the sequin-sided boy shirt, and how they make me feel like a nutcracker when worn together with this little cap. But even better is how they will easily be incorporated into the regular wardrobe with other pieces. Win win!
