Suited
One of the first things I did when I graduated college was go shopping for a black suit to wear to interviews and a few collared shirts to wear under it. It was just what you did, even though the positions I was going for were TV jobs where you would never see a suit unless it was in the ad sales department on an interviewee. Over the years, suits have become way less of a thing in creative fields, even for interviews or fancy meetings. Even though I don't work in an office, I'm happy that it's become more acceptable to showcase your style in the workplace and the idea of a suit has evolved into something a bit more fun. Here I combined two of my favorite staples, black joggers and my leather sleeve blazer, to get a suit-ish look. It's less formal, more unique, and an easy way to amp up everyday pieces. Especially when paired with a few more statement-y fashion forward accessories, it's a great go-t when you want your look to be polished yet personal.
