Next up in the Wedding Guest 101 series is one of my personal favorites, the city wedding! While any wedding setting creates a fun challenge to find the right outfit, city weddings are the ones where we get to push the envelope a bit. There's something about the urban setting where an eclectic mix of people come together and everyone expects to see some good style. That's not meant to be an intimidation factor, it's meant to be an inspiration factor. Nothing you wear is going to be "too stylish" in a big city, so I say try a trend you've been eyeing and really go for it! Either start with an elegant LBD (or anything classic) and take it in your own direction with some unexpected statement accessories, or find a really exciting dress with a graphic pattern and do a little color play. These are the type of pieces you'll be able to wear again, maybe dressed a bit more casually for a girls night out or a date, so they're fun to shop for.
