Romper Romp
I'm typically an online shopper. I feel the need to examine absolutely everything a store has to offer before I can pull any triggers, which can make for a lengthy, stressful shopping experience. I like the fact that websites allow me to sift through everything, weed out the things that aren't available in my size or just not what I'm looking for. But at the end of the day, it's 90% about how an item fits which completely changes which pieces you actually want to take home. There's something to be said for good old fashion store shopping where you can see how something looks and feels before you buy it. This romper is the perfect example of that. I was shopping with my mom who had a few things to try on at Barney's, so I randomly picked this up and thought "ok I guess I'll try this." It wasn't until I actually put it on that I saw what a great piece it was. Usually rompers are a no go for me because they tend to be proportioned more on the petite side, but this one totally had the height situation handled, and I was hooked. I never would have noticed it in an online shopping session. I walked away from it at first because I wasn't prepared to spend $350, and that worked out to my advantage because it eventually went on sale before I even would have had a chance to wear it. The BEST! I'll be wearing this to my brother-in-law's post-wedding brunch next weekend because it feels like pajamas but looks perfectly put together with whatever sandals are at the top of my suitcase.
Saloni romper (sold out but some Barney's stores might still have it) / DVF wedges / BCBG clutch (sold out but I love this one too) / LUV AJ rings, hand piece, and cuff / Nixon watch
