It's time for yet another new series, and this one is a favorite of mine. It's juicy, it's controversial, and it's going to be a great shopping source to help you not break the bank. We're calling it Designer Duel. In each post an expensive a$$ designer piece will go head-to-head with a very similar (in some cases a little too similar) less expensive counter part. Because while we respect the high end designer brands, sometimes we're happy with something that looks just like it but at a fraction of the cost. Here are the rules: 1. The less expensive version still has to be good quality, so you're getting basically the same exact thing without the name. 2. The two items have to look really similar. It's not just a "get the general look for less" type of situation where the cheaper one is actually not even close to the high end one. 3. The bargain version has be legitimate, it can't be a knockoff claiming to be the same brand. Of course. This is meant to be fun and helpful, not sleazy. Hope you enjoy!
