Studded Sophisticate
It can be a struggle to make myself wear lighter colors, and often times I just give in and let myself commit to the head to toe black. In LA it can be a bit jarring, especially when the temps are always above 70. But as long as the fabrics are lighter weight, it's not so heavy feeling. Buckley sandals with a lucite heel still have a New York feel but are perfect for an LA climate, and dark rinse jeans make the outfit just a bit more breathable and more interesting, instead of straight black. My favorite part of putting together an outfit like this is to throw a ton of gold jewelry at a it to add a noticeable splash of rocker glam to the mix.
