Ever since this post, I had been searching for the perfect black baseball hat but kept coming up short. It's true they are everywhere these days, but as you might remember from middle school (at least that was the last time I tried to wear one), it can be a bit hard to find the perfect fit. Either it sits too high and makes you look like a pinhead, or comes so far down it completely covers your eyes. Luckily the trend is the wear them with your hair over your ears, because caps always made my ears stand straight out from my head when I was younger - a memory I would rather forget. Imagine the "Duh" I uttered (out loud, mind you) when I had been to five stores on the promenade before realizing I should proobbbably try Lids - a store where they sell nothing but baseball caps. I was so excited to find this one because it's exactly the kind I was looking for this whole time (thick, structured, basic, and non-leather). Plus, it's what they call the "flex fit" - a fitted but stretchy design with solid back, which gives it a more sleek and luxurious look... and it was only $17. The best part is you can wear it to mask third day hair (as I did here), styled with more elevated pieces to save your non-shampooed self from looking like a lost cause. Score!
