Moody Fall
When I first moved to LA, the fall seriously depressed me. I was so used to that much anticipated chill in the air from the east coast and the midwest growing up and I couldn't fathom the concept of an autumn that ever tops 80 degrees. But over the years I've started to understand LA fall. If you pay attention, there is definitely a difference in the air and we're lucky enough to get some crisp mornings in October before it actually starts to get coat-worthy cold in November. There's been a range of temps these days, so I like to equip myself with fall-like layers while still having a certain airiness that will allow for a warmer moment in the middle of the day. This black tank from Free People is great because it's breezy and comfy but the peplum gives it a little extra style intention. I layered it under this soft lightweight utility jacket with black ripped skinnies for a day of casual errands and I was comfy for whatever range of temps the day brought on.
