For the most part, May in LA is well past sweater weather, but a few overcast windy days still sneak up on us here and there. I don't mind it, especially since it gives me a chance to cozy up with this tribal print knit number - a new addition to my wardrobe that has unexpectedly come in handy lately for early morning dog walks and cold plane rides. The high contrast design gives it a bit of extra oomph and when mixed with fringey cutoffs, it becomes perfectly appropriate for cooler spring days. These biker boots are another winter gone summer staple, which I was actually compelled to buy last fall because of the inspiration to wear them with shorts. They took me through the colder months with skinny jeans but they're ready to take on their originally intended identity. I love spring fashion because it's a chance to  get creative with your clothes and think of your seasonal pieces in a different light, before it's time to pack winter away and fully immerse yourself into summer.
