The last weekend of summer doesn't make me sad. Labor Day always marks the beginning of my favorite time year, so I have no complaints. I may not be one to look back longingly when September arrives, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy a nice long weekend whenever I can get one. Mine consisted of leisurely errands to prep for my trip to NYC this week, a few yummy dinners with the hubby, and a BBQ with friends in Santa Monica. As much as I am looking forward to a week in New York with carefully planned outfits, there's something so comforting about the days when anything but a t-shirt and ripped jeans would be overdressed.
