Pre-Fall Predicament

With September just around the corner, I can't help but daydream about leather jackets, booties, and jewel toned skinny jeans. I don't know why I can't hold off on getting excited for fall just a little bit longer. After all, it'll still be summer in Southern California for at least another month or two. Maybe it's the Minnesota in me - at this time of the year I start to smell the crisp leaves and feel the chill in the air - whether it's really there or not. So in the meantime, I'm searching for inspiration in a few seasonless staples like flowy silk blouses, chunky chains, and black patent flats that will surely lead me to those autumn outfits I have on the brain. But to honor the last weeks of summer, I'll try my best to keep the palette light and airy. For now.
