Green Snake

Despite any recent blog posts you may have seen here concerning color overloads (eh hem), I'm typically more of a neutrals girl, with the exception of the occasional neon pop. But when the mood for color strikes me, I love to work from one side of the color wheel and keep the palate somewhat monochromatic, with an edgy twist thrown in somewhere. When I came across these two snake pieces on sale at BCBG, I loved the way they coordinated in color and print while still remaining totally unique to each other. Pairing them with the slight color tangent of my sunny Joe's jeans and adding a bit of contrast with black heels and my new favorite strong shouldered white blazer quickly turned this into my perfect ensemble for a summer evening of cocktails with the girls.
