Sequins on the Beach

I have a confession to make: I live five minutes away from the beach and I hardly ever go. I feel weird admitting it because those of us who live near a coast are so lucky to have such beauty around us and it's important not to take it for granted. But the honest truth is that I'm not much of a beach person unless I'm on vacation in a secluded tropical location with some sort of coconut drink in my hand. Whenever I get the opportunity to take a weekend outside of the city, I tend to find myself in the desert (what can I say, I like a dry heat). But for some reason, this vintage sequin top seemed to be pulling towards the ocean at sunset and I just couldn't resist. Even though its long sleeves probably make it a better fit for colder months, the pink and gold sparkly color combo made it feel so right for summer when paired with white cutoffs and sandals, which I promptly kicked of as soon as my feet touched the sand.

Vintage sequin top, Joe's Jeans white jeans that are now shorts (similar), vintage clutch, Sam Edelman sandals, Michael Kors watch, Arm stack: F21, J.Crew, Kate Spade, Sisters Ugly, H&M, Heart ring was a gift so I don't know the details but I do know it's from Etsy
