Lady Lolita
Whether or not you've read Lolita or seen the movie, there's no denying that its scandalous storyline and seductive main character hold an iconic place in pop culture. I came across these interesting book cover designs and they pulled me right in. I love how each one subtly portrays the unsavory subject matter in an aesthetically pleasing yet uncomfortable way. And then my train of thought was interrupted by a more important one - what might a Lolita inspired outfit look like today? For a more adult version of her, mind you.
