The Daily Grind
As leisurely weekends come to a close, I secretly enjoy shifting back into my routine on Monday morning. I love the buzz of energy and possibilites that come with the start of a new week. Even though I have a perfectly good coffee maker at home, I take pleasure in the ritual of walking out to get my morning coffee. Starbucks is my shop of choice - our little Brentwood spot has such a pleasant staff, a fancy Clover machine, and the occasional celebrity sighting. When I'm feeling extra inspired I'll get all dolled up for the occasion, but most of the time I like to throw on the most comfortable and grog-friendly ensemble. Shlep can still be chic with some clever layering and a bit of lipgloss. Happy Monday!
